#81.  THOUGHTS OF FAMILY

Not everyone sees family members regularly

Sometimes there is great separation geographically

Sometimes the separation is caused spiritually

Sometimes it is God...protecting you

When you reach out with love

In an effort to help

And are rejected

Remember this

Spiritual 

Battle

Daily

It Hurts

It Hurts A Lot

Because Rejection Hurts

Yet When You Make A Wise Decision

To Forgive And Forgive And Forgive Again

You Know Deep Within You Are Doing Right

You Are Undoubtedly Pleasing Jesus Big Time

Is There Anything Else More Important Than That

No Matter How Hard You Try You Can Not Please All

So When You Decide To Please Jesus You Win Every Time

How You Handle Rejection And Disappointment Is Up To You

Handle It With God's Help And You Will Get Through Successfully

He Uses These Painful Experiences In Our Lives To Help Us Oft Times

Though We Do Not Always Recognize The Lesson To Learn From Pain

Even Though The Holy Spirit Is Our Teacher From Pain We Can Also Gain

It Is Easy To See The Hand Of God At Work When You Sit In His Presence

Because He Does Reveal Things To Us As We Focus And Prepare To Receive

He Knows When Deep Pain Causes Our Heart To Grieve Cause He's Been There Too

Yes Jesus Knows A Whole Lot About Rejection And Pain And Grief And Conquered All

So Keep That In The Forefront Of Your Mind When You Are Hurting A Lot Cause Tis True

Not Only Did Jesus Conquer Rejection and Pain He Also Secured Victory For Us As Well

He Is An Overcomer A Conqueror Not A Victim Any More And Same Goes For You

So Chin UP And Receive All He Has For You Because God's Plans Are World Class

Lest Ye Doubt Remember Others And How They Rose To The Top Like Joseph, Moses

And The List Goes On And On And On So Put Your Name There Also Now

As In Faith And Prophetically You Proclaim That You Do Excel As Well

And You Will Continue To Excel Again And Again Because You 

Obey Your Master Mentor The Holy Spirit As Well As

Other Mentors In Your Life Which Is Good

In Fact Few Do Become Proteges

So The Fact That I Do

Have Not One

But Two

Mentors

#80.    HOME RUN!!

When a man stands at the baseball plate and hits the ball dead on... there are Reactions!  People in the stands begin cheering for him almost immediately.  His teammates in the bullpen rise to their feet in anticipation as he runs from first base to second base safely.  Keeps on running as he heads toward third base quickly.  Some spectators get even more excited and exuberant as he makes it to third base.  When he passes short stop safely....a spectator tosses his drink in the air in jubilation as a Home Run is achieved in brief seconds!  By then the embraces of overjoyed teammates have hidden the runner beneath their embrace as the scoreboard changes in their favor.    

I said that to say this: It is not all about the runner.  The eyes are on the runner, of course, as he plays a key part in the game of baseball.  However, he is but one person on the team.  Together they are a team...although individually at times, the spotlight is on them.  If a ball is hit to second base, of course the spotlight is on the runner and the second base man.  It is a team effort.

So it is in a Christian Ministry....much teamwork is required.  God calls someone to head up a ministry, birth it....an Apostle.  A Church becomes filled with people, gradually, and the office is filled with staff.  Leaders teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but it doesn't stop there in that particular city.  Financial support is generated through Partners of the Ministry.  There is an outreach that extends beyond the immediate vicinity.  God is Global and calls for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to go forth globally.    

This requires a leader, and armour bearers, other staff also to travel to other countries.  Near and far, by car, van, limo, cab, airplane.  The cost is high, as is the amount of work required to teach via television and internet.  Plus the need to transport all the books and whatever other material is needed.  Someone must organize as when they reach the venue they must set up table to display the books, DVD's, CD's, etc.  Done as unto the Lord which means it must be done in an orderly fashion, not slipshod.  God is World Class and teaches the teachable to be like Him.  It is a high standard requiring much exacting work continually to achieve the desired results. Humility is required as well as a reduction of pride, tempers, angry outbursts.  Humanity can not be killed, the flesh must be crucified. Much prayer is part of the teamwork too.

When a standard of excellence is called for, it is a standard few even attempt, let alone achieve.  Consequently for those under such leadership, learning to raise the bar high can be stressful and quite a stretch.  Mediocrity must be left behind willingly as one steps up higher, no turning back.  The flesh dies hard so when new habits need to be achieved; when discipline is required until a habit is birthed; there will be countless opportunities to quit, become slack, not to mention angry and frustrated.  This is when one soon learns what is on the inside because what is inside will come out.  

Whether it be words of frustration and anger or praise in the midst of it all....or a tenacity of a bulldog is shown as someone is determined to excel.  Focus will be important when the flesh is being crucified, the emotions are held in check, and time is of the essence.  In fact, focus is important 24/7 if time is of value.  Everything one does is an investment in something or someone so time is a huge factor in the value of that investment.  Time is money, time can not be replaced, time is the most precious valuable commodity to those who view time as currency.  

When looking at the big picture...can you see yourself here...where do you fit...what is your assignment in life...are you an asset to the team and are you raising the bar for excellence?  Is becoming World Class one of your goals?  If not, why?  If so, why?  When the passion within is to have World Class Excellence in your life, it will not be overlooked by others.  Your daily habits will prove to be outstanding because you learned to control a twenty four hour period and make it serve you.  Your day is your servant.  Commanding your day each morning as you give a theme for the day, whether it be a day of honor and you excel in honoring others throughout the day; or a day of order resulting in much order achieved by the day's end; with your day as your servant and a theme in mind, changes occur that were not occurring previously.

Little changes that are done consistently, become habits; habits that create huge changes in time.  One never knows how much one little email letter can grow into a book, let alone a global ministry.  God's plans are always bigger than man's biggest and best plan.  So as we reach for more and achieve, more is always available because God is a God of abundance.  Also, a God of multiplication.  When the pain of making the changes is severe, and frustration seems constant, remind yourself that God has a plan and you are working the necessary part at this time.  Yet things will not always be this difficult for this plan is simply preparation for promotion. 

The good that is being done when you lift weights at the gym can not be seen immediately.  Yet keeping one's eyes focused on the desired result helps one to persevere, endure the difficulties.  Whatever the battle you face lately I pray these words help you to chin up, stick it out, don't quit, get focused, fired up again as you regain momentum and know that you know... your labor is not in vain.  You started with a goal in mind and you will complete.  This is not all about you, it is for a greater purpose as you fulfill the assignment God has called you to do so press forward, keep climbing upward, be tenacious, you can make it, no fear, no doubts, you are called, chosen, anointed, and God does not make mistakes.  

Trust God to see you through and praise him before you get through...that is a very good idea!  In fact, it is a God idea.  Blessings and encouragement to all...ask God to show you the Big Picture and your little world won't seem so little after all.  Although as my motto says:  Small World...BIG GOD!!!  It is time for Your "HOME RUN, Too!!"

#78.  PROGRESSIVE BREAKTHROUGH

I see a blank page
An endless blank page
A dangerous thing to do
Because inspired writing
Is what I do day and night
It is easy to lose track of time
Plus how many pages I've written
I try not to let those thoughts distract me.
Instead I just write and write and write until
The words bring forth an answer that I needed
No longer is it hidden and out of sight, it is bright.
As you see lines extending more and more to the right
This is one way in which a pattern is formed easily for me
Not done intentionally yet it is easy to observe the formation
So I just keep writing and as is happening right now you can see
It is unintentional, inspired, is easy to use a gift from within and fun
Sometimes in life as each day unfolds and becomes months and years
Although each day holds different experiences and memories to cherish
Indeed there are also numerous days that hold disappointments, and tears
Because life provides opportunities to experience lots of  different things daily
Life also provides opportunities to make wise decisions, as your day is a servant
It is good to name a theme for your day and focus on that theme throughout the day
In fact it results in your day serving you so do not be skeptical, just give it a try; I did
After all, you have nothing to lose by doing so; plus you will see for yourself it works
For example, if your theme for the day is 'Peace' you will be more aware of peace within
Not to mention the fact that you will be more fine tuned to the peace in each environment
Plus by recognizing such peace you automatically become more thankful, more appreciative
As your day of proclaimed peace...continues...your peace is more pronounced...changing you
Such a simply way to bring change for the better... several times in one day otherwise unnoticed
Sometimes peace is not appreciated until it is gone...missing...has been replaced with a lack of peace    
So easily done yet so unnecessary to do...and to think peace is only one theme that a day can be given
The themes are endless...as are the opportunities to recognize the answers to such a proclamation daily.
Consequently, as my Mentor, Dr. Mike Murdock challenged all to apply this teaching, I challenge you.

Honour is another example of a theme you can use, as your day becomes your servant; try it, you'll see.
When honouring someone is an uppermost thought in your mind, your heart will reveal who to touch
As your gift to that person will be evidence of the fact that you took time to hear from the Holy Spirit
So as to give a gift that is something the person will like... let alone be a desire of their heart...wow
This is when the wow factor is evident...a result of caring...and caring costs but is worth it all...yes. 
Caring... costs time, thoughtfulness, taking risks, trusting, finances, prayers, listening, reaching...
Caring requires vulnerability, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit,  removing preconceived expectations,
Letting walls down, continual development of spiritual faith muscles to pass testings successfully
Caring hurts at times, yet caring helps, caring heals, caring hosts, caring is humble, caring loves
Caring comes naturally from a Supernatural God Who knows how to love and reach thru you
Because God cares for you more than anyone on this earth and God wants to honor you...
Yes, it is true, so this is the purpose of filling these stark white blank pages with words...
Not just any words... words of love, encouragement, clarity, edification, to your heart
Because God knows your need more than anyone and He uses whomever He wants
Consequently as you read please receive honor from God today with this writing...
As your heart is uplifted and your eyes see spiritually that He has not forgotten you
Nor ever will...and God knows who needs a blessing...as well how...'tis true...
Receive a poem of honor for you...from Heaven ... and release the pain now...
As on bended knee you bow...truly...it is no secret what God can do... nope.
God Bless You by opening wounds from lies of the enemy as God cleanses
God heals, God fills the wounds with love, seals them shut, lifts you up
Stronger than ever before as He prepares you for the future so glorious
That even you will be amazed at our World Class God's ability...
To not only save, heal, deliver, but absolute ability to Restore...
More is an understatement...new is too, so rejoice immediately
Because faith decrees a huge breakthrough indeed, and more
Since there are no ends to the abilities and provisions of God
He knows how to bless and where and when and whom
He has been preparing you for some time now...yep...
Little is much when God is in it, and He is so rejoice.
Not only have you been someone the enemy can't stop
You...with God's help...have finally actually arrived:
At the Mountain Top!! Did you hear that...???
You Made It To The Mountain Top!
Your eyes on Jesus...pure heart too
Clean hands and renewed mind
Qualified you for "Next"...
Next ...is at the top now

77. DETOUR


What does one do
With the wisdom and love within a heart?
It can be smothered with pain and grief
Or to another...one can impart...


A decision to do so
Would be a wise decision.
Because love smothered...dies.
Releasing the love to another ='s spiritual battle Won!


When someone does not receive your love
It is not... a dead end.
Detour: Pour that love where God leads
As your will, you...bend.


When you reach out to others
Sharing God's love and wisdom regularly
God is doing the same thing
With your family.


To harbor offense, pain, grief
Houses junk within, for sure.
Release forgiveness and reach out anew.
God will bless you for keeping your heart pure.


It is what Jesus would do...reach!
When life is Christ centered and you obey
You 'get through' with or without grandchildren.
Even on their 'Birthday'!(not to mention your own) 


Some people hurt and say a lot. 
Some people hurt and say nothing.
Some carry pain for decades, foolishly.
Some wisely release it to their King.


When a detour points you to Jesus Christ...
THAT... is the direction to take.
Not a dead end, not a ditch, not reverse.
Make no mistake!


Detour.
Cure.
Heart
Pure!

#76  Do WHAT?

When the smile gets knocked off your face...

When your countenance drops considerably...

When tears sting your eyes simultaneously...

You know you've been 'hit'...

Can anyone relate...or is it just me?

What follows such a 'hit'...

Reveals who I follow consistently...

My Jesus... is Who I look up to for help.

I need not look 'for' Him, 'cause I... follow Him.

He and I are... 'We'!

His open arms welcome me immediately.

I release pain even before I receive understanding.

That way my heart is clear of hindrance...

I keep the pipeline free of contamination.

So understanding, the Holy Spirit can bring.

As I open up to let go, He pours into me

Words, impressions, understanding, thoughts too.

Emotions want to rule... I choose Not...that route.

Crucifying the flesh is a 'Must Do' daily, hourly...

It is the only way to successfully get through.

Sometimes the Holy Spirit convicts me

Of wrong doing on my part, sometimes not.

Always He and I converse, commune, fellowship

Until I am free of the pain, able to move forward

Because to harbor unforgiveness...means to rot.

Poison within caused by unforgiveness can be seen

Through countenance, attitude, words, and tone.

Some will discern this more than others

Yet will often know when something is wrong,

Even through the voice on the phone.

Can anyone hide...what is inside...?

Absolutely not...so do not think differently.

What is inside comes out...all in due season.

Check God's track record and you'll know

A tree is known by its' fruit...you see...

Some fruit you see, some you hear,

Some you discern within, but all tells a story.

Consequently, be a fruit inspector of 'self'

As daily...obedience, faith walking, faith talk

Brings to God much glory.

If fruit has been bruised, damaged, make a change.

Do what? Remove, prune that which must leave...

So as to prepare for more growth each day; 

Issues must be dealt with quickly and effectively

So as the Holy Spirit...not...to grieve.

When pain is felt one's immediate response

Is to open mouth and cry out

Telling others how much it hurts...

God's way differs...crying out to Him fast

Is opportunity to remove pain, fear, doubt.

Healing occurs at the speed of your ability

To believe truth, act on the Word, and receive.

Telling others of issues is healing time wasted

If heart is full of faith because...in God's Face

Is What To DO As Faith... Will BELIEVE!!

Circumstances change proportionate to yielding

To the Holy Ghost, following instructions too.

New habits established prove change within

As obedience to the voice of the Master Mentor

Proves to result in more fruit, good fruit, so "DO!"

God is no respecter of persons; change is required

For you too...Brothers, Sisters, Family of God, all.

I pray for increased spiritual growth in everyone

And that it will be seen and tasted by many

As good fruit is produced in answer to God's call.

Romans 2:11 "For there is no respect of persons with God."

#75. Pleasing God

Life before Twitter

Seems so long ago.

I wonder what I did

With all the hours before.

How did I sow?

Expressing thoughts daily

Is really not hard to do.

Deciding what is from God

As I pray and discern

Is... important to do...

Some words...say nothing!

Some words speak volumes immediately.

Two hearts connect

Divinely done...

It happens, repeatedly.

Words flow...like pure spring water

Satisfying...quenching thirst...inspiring incredibly.

At times stirring deeper thoughts, meditation,

Not to mention a mindset change

As truth exposed darkness within me.

Does it happen with each tweet I read?

No indeed, in fact; some tweets grieve

Because they reek of the carnal nature

Revealing the character of the sender.

Thus, I choose to not believe or receive.

After tasting of spring water...so pure

Why would I ever drink from a tainted well?

Unless I failed to discern impurity

Because Liars, Deceivers and Thieves are rampant

In the Family of God:  TRUTH...I DO tell!!

Thankfully, nothing is hid from God.

Via Twitter...I see endless opportunities

To let my light shine with truth

Through a thought, a poem, lyrics.

I pray you are blessed, and GOD is Pleased!

Perhaps you will check within too
As the Holy Spirit shines his spot light
Revealing what your tweets say about you.
Is your well producing pure water or defilement.
I pray each future tweet will be bright.


When pollution to the body of Christ occurs
Such tweets are actually 'anti-Christ' so beware.
Check to see what spirit is inspiring you.
Especially when it is clear for all to see... globally.
Pray, discern, crucify the flesh... if you... Care.


A platform can be used to abuse, seduce, defile...
To shine, prophesy, edify, teach...
Please God repeatedly...
Speak words of life that heal and mend...
Release peace, joy, laughter... as you reach...


Above all I pray that pleasing God
Proves to be an easy thing to do
Because before speaking...
Whether verbally or in writing
We ensure He... is in it too.  


Words are seeds...if our tweets please God
 The flow will be pure water, clean.
Readers receive, are changed within, blessed;
Twitter becomes a collection of wells
Flowing with living water where Christ is seen.

#74 TRANSFORMED TEARS

Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus

As I kneel by my bed your feet I see and I weep.

Tears of gratitude for all you have done for me.

Tears of appreciation as you touch me, teach me.

Tears of brokenness for how you have mended me.

Tears of joy unspeakable at how you restore totally.

Tears of elation at your acceptance of me as I am.

Tears of celebration because you healed me totally.

Tears of cleansing as I receive yet more love from you.

Tears of release as stress leaves replaced with peace.

Tears of thankfulness for your magnificent plan for my life.

Tears of … no more tears, no more tears… tears are done…gone.

A-Z is not enough to share what the Lord has done for me.

#73   WHO IS HURTING? 

Why are there so many, many people hurting...yet housing the hurt within?  

Why would someone go one more day with such pain when increase is inevitable?

What causes someone to allow disorder to continue...as the body is ravaged unmercifully?

Could it be lack of caring and respect for life in general, not to mention self respect and love?

What about you...do you harbour pain within, whether emotional wounds, physical, mental...?

How do you deal with such afflictions, or better still, do you deal with unresolved issues?

To ignore a tooth ache only delays the problem and allow for increase of pain.

Same applies in other areas also...especially when unforgiveness is at the root of pain.

It is one thing to know the importance of forgiving others; it is another thing to release forgiveness.

Some wounds are so easily healed by asking forgiveness as one's own heart is searched.

Other wounds left unattended result in infection increasing daily, as the body is ravaged internally.

Why hang on tho the pain and hurt by refusing to forgive?  In doing so self... is the primary victim.

It pays to look at things from God's viewpoint and ask for wisdom from above...takes humility too.

Not to mention some faith that He will answer, so why not ask and give Him a chance to respond.

He gave everyone a measure of faith so use it.....or lose it; bottom line.

The decision is yours...decisions decide your future so this is opportunity for change.

When wanting things to improve, things must be done differently.

How easy is that by simply asking God for help as you choose to forgive, 

He sets you free...Free to be the person God created you to be.

When unforgiveness is harboured and manifests with arthritis...take authority in Jesus' Name.

Becoming complacent about such a thing is not a victorious way to live.

You may have given up and accepted such a lifestyle, but others have not.

That is why (for example) when I prayed in proxy for my mother years ago

God healed her of osteoarthritis in her hip, instantly, after being bedridden three months.

I was two miles down the road when I prayed and the power of God threw my body to the floor

Electricity shooting through it as I tried three times to get back up....knowing... God healed Mom!!

One prayer of agreement that morning with a television evangelist and a miracle occurred.

Jesus paid the price for the healing and my simply prayer of faith produced results. (Matt.18:19)

The same power is available to you today so I pray you reach out to others that are in pain.

Allow your mouth to be used to speak words of life in a prayer as your faith is released too.

Jesus is coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle, not a Body of pain filled wounded soldiers

Infected with unforgiveness, bitterness, offences of various degrees.......come on Church...

We have got a job to do...who is the last person you looked at and saw pain...in their eyes?

Let's be a part of the preparation process so as not to delay the Second Coming.

Who can you help today....who do you know that is in pain....who will you lay down your life for?

It is all about JESUS... we can do nothing without him...let's be vessels of honour he can use

To remove burdens from others, release healing to others, speak encouragement to others, 

And in doing so...we do reap what we sow, Hallelujah.  (Galatians 6:9)

The joyous person is a person who sees the hand of God at work daily...

Do you?  If not, just pray and make sure your heart is free of any offences, etc. (Luke 17:1)

The blood of Jesus is still flowing and available to wash away sins. (Ephesians 1:7)

The Word of God washes you clean and floods you with light, life, and truth.

With the Word in you...go forth in the Name of Jesus, be led by the Holy Spirit

In all you say, think and do and YOU...will "Be Happy" Too!!

#71.  Stop...Look...Listen...And THINK!

Picture a field covered in a blanket of pure white snow flakes.

Pristine clean...no footprints, no marks or dents or discolouration at all.

Simply something magnificent that occurred as one by one

Snowflakes so very tiny continued to change something so huge....

Acres and acres of land far more huge than one snowflake

Yet as the flakes remained in unity they produced something beautiful

For all to see and in total silence as well as each snowflake fell.

The handiwork of God for all to see so clearly.

Yet think about the message God could bestow by taking time to:

Stop....look....listen....and T H I N K !

One tiny snowflake changed acres of landscape

Simply by remaining united with others of like kind.

Soon something beautiful was produced; and seemingly effortlessly.

How much more can Christ Centered Believers accomplish? 

Believers who know and use their gifts, and are in the center of their assignment

Walking in unity as God’s love flows freely.  

Stop....Look....Listen....and THINK...!

What gift or gifts has God given you to use for His glory?

Do you know your assignment ... are you in the center of it?  

God has a lotta, lotta, lotta love to release through you... to many.

To be most effective you need to know your difference, so you can market it.

Know and operate in your God given assignment with confidence.

You have no competition whatsoever because there is only one ‘YOU’

So ask God to use you for His glory, but first take time daily to do this:

Stop....Look....Listen....and THINK...!

Recently this question along with some very graphic illustrations has proven to cause a stirring within many individuals.  Myself included.  Undoubtedly each of us know of something in our life or that of another, that we wish had never happened.  When we think of that incident we ask ourselves...where was God...why did this happen...why was it 'allowed'...etc.  My thoughts are stirring too.

Years ago when I heard a bad report followed by the remark..."God allowed it!"  That made it sound like it must be okay because God Himself....the Top Authority over the entire world... allowed it.  Yet it did not make me love God more.  If anything, I withdrew because if God allowed seven people to be killed in an auto accident, that made 'my God' a murderer and there was nothing loving or kind about such a thought!

Also, it seemed to absolve all responsibility from anyone and everyone who walked on this earth.  My spirit told me something is wrong with that thought so I needed to 'Think' some more.  The point being, my spirit did not have a witness from the Holy Spirit that such words were truth.  If anyone knows what the truth is, it is the Holy Spirit.  He is called the Spirit of Truth.  So although I do not have all the answers, I know personally the One who does.  As I take time to commune with him in the Secret Place my time is well spent.  

It is one thing to just speak a flippant answer as to your opinion and feel smug or satisfied that you got your point across.  It is another thing to do some research with a Source that provides only truth, no error.  The truth being, when the truth.... is known; the carnal mind will not necessarily like it.  Why?  Because the carnal nature, the flesh wants to be pampered and comforted without having to change.  i.e. If it feels good, do it.  That is not God's way though.  Change is not necessarily an ugly word.  It is a necessity daily if we are to become more Christ-like and continue to mature spiritually.  Sure enough, as I sought the Lord I gained understanding. 

With the understanding came eye opening truth that was so bright it made me squint my eyes shut again...because darkness does not like it when it is exposed.  BUT GOD...answers prayer and knowing the truth is how to get set free.  Truth is when the auto accident that did happen years ago, though I did not know the family that died it had quite an impact on my life.  Not to mention the fact that twice the same thing happened on the same stretch of highway within a year.  I do not believe in coincidences. It's a God instance, He wants our attention.

Which brings us to God's viewpoint.  Now that is where wisdom is clearly seen.  He saw the vehicles collide and knew who made an error in judging speed of another, thus causing the accident.  The driver had a free will and made a simple error, or was distracted by someone in the car; regardless of the exact reason...lives were lost.  God's fault because He allowed it?  Absolutely Not.  God is love and God is just.  Bottom line.  

There are multiple variables in play...we are complex beings.  A driver who has been running the yellow light for years eventually runs a red and there is a price to pay.  Just because he got away with speeding through the intersection many times did not mean he was not in error.  He was not submitting to the law of the land.  Someone could have been used by God to warn the driver...like I did to a lady at the nail shop because she was proclaiming that she speeds all the time.  

I told her of someone who was in an accident and now is in a wheelchair, same age as her, 20's...let her know she is playing with fire when she knowingly speeds.  She thanked me and that response was a welcome surprise.  She received correction.  The words were food for thought to help...help save her life and that of others.  If she continues and someone is killed is it God's fault? No, she broke a law and there is a price to pay.  it is not complicated.  

When she broke a law she put her life in jeopardy.  She knowingly moved out from under the umbrella of protection provided by those laws.  Speed signs are there for a purpose.  Not for a bird to sit on! "The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy..." John 10:10. He is hard at work and uses people who allow... him to! Speeding is serving the enemy and putting self in his trust...  Not wise.  When someone is killed then I've heard...."Oh God wanted another little angel so now so and so is in heaven with Jesus".  Rubbish.  God does not need children in heaven.  He wants us to have a long full life.  

He says, "With long life shall I satisfy your soul." PS.91:16.  Yet He tells us that "my people perish for lack of knowledge."  Uh oh...God's people...perish for lack of knowledge?  Yes.  That puts some responsibility on 'people'....does it not?  Hello? (Read Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.") That is the Bible, folks!

Let's move to another area....two accidents taking many lives, same year, same highway, same very spot, could this be a curse of the enemy?  Many never think of such a thing as they get in their car to go somewhere.  Nor do they pray for traveling mercies.  Their thoughts are not on God or safety, but on the list of things to do.  Those who DO pray, will find themselves led by the Holy Spirit to go a different route and they will obey the nudgings....and be safe.  That is what happened to those who survived the twin towers attack.  Testimonies proved that God spoke to each person that day...gave an instruction, yet few obeyed.  It cost their lives.  Not God's fault, people perish for lack of knowledge.

We do not want to hear that God is NOT in control because that shakes us up.  It just might make us feel insecure to think such a thing.  It might also wake us up out of mediocrity mindsets.  We WANT the assurance that He IS in control.  If not, it is almost like saying the police are there... but they have no authority.  Well they ARE there and they DO have authority, but does that stop crime? No, because who... is in control? Not the law, when people break the law the officers hands are tied, so to speak.  People reap what they sow.  There are always repercussions for wrong doing.  

Does God allow cancer to take lives or do people perish for lack of knowledge.....Jesus did what the Father told him to do.  He took those stripes on his back that all will be healed. (1Peter 2:24) The price has been paid for our healing.  Yet few believe and less receive.  It is one thing to believe and another to learn to receive.  Know the Word and know how to apply and implement it in your life.  We are told to Study.....to learn....so that puts some accountability on us.  2Tim.2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

God wants us to learn how to use the power we have in Christ.  We have power to put sickness under our feet.  How many run to the medicine cabinet first, not to prayer for solution yet God is there waiting, 24/7.  If Jesus is not Lord of all he is not Lord at all.  We can not have selective obedience and and expect to avoid every roadblock the enemy erects....or that fear erects.  We are called to have a spirit of excellence.  Do what Jesus would do, think like Jesus thinks, act like Jesus and speak like Jesus speaks.  

How many times have you heard someone say...."That makes me sick to think of such a thing." They just opened a door for sickness with such words.  Life and death in the power of the tongue.  We are accountable and when we do not look at such situations spiritually we will suffer due to lack of understanding.  Ignorance is ugly.  Being wise is a choice...that results in making wise decisions.

Our decisions decide our future.  God loves us and wants us to do things His way, yet He gave us a free will and we choose our future by our decisions.  Why did so many people go to church after 9.11 and then the attendance dropped to all time low years later?  They do not have a fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom.  Without wisdom your life is like a ship without a rudder...at the mercy of whoever it comes in contact with...aimlessly floundering in life...day by day...an open target for spiritual warfare because the enemy hates believers and non-believers.  He has no love in him.  That makes everyone a target and only those who have learned how to use the sword, the Word of God effectively will move forward in the Kingdom of God to His glory.  You are in a battle for your life daily.  Choose your weapons and time and place because if you don't, your enemy will.  

When the Holy Spirit is your Master Mentor you will be a learner that is excited about life and learning to grab hold of a World Class Attitude & a World Class Lifestyle, as Bible principles are learned and applied.   You can not be effective in the army of God if you do not know how to use your weapon...sword...the Bible....effectively.  That is why God positions people in the fivefold ministry and gives you opportunity to mature, improve, learn, succeed.  Ephesians 4:11.

When you see God's perspective and something bad happens to someone you will realize life is a result of personal decisions whether wise or unwise.  A tree is known by its fruit.  As for someone serving God and learning yet suffering from some mishap...yes, bad things do happen to good people.  The difference is when armed believers are hit, they retaliate with the sword of the Spirit and they have the ability to become overcomers in Christ.  

I know personally because of overcoming attempted murder, lung cancer, domestic abuse, five auto accidents, one motorcycle accident, (no I was not always the driver!:)) but Jesus Is Lord of my Life and He sees me through every trial.  My faith in him does not waver, it only gets stronger and stronger because I see his hand at work on my behalf daily.  We are one.  I made a decision to live this way and he has never let me down.  I thought he was late more than once but he still worked things out for my good so how can I question His timing?

Long story short...God is in control of those who will stop, listen, hear, and obey what the Spirit of the Lord is saying...and he says a lot.  He loves to talk.  What is the last thing he said to you?  If you don't remember it is time to go to your secret place and have a listen.  His phone number is Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not."     Conversation is two way....take a pen and paper....write down what he says because he will speak to you.  Ask questions, enjoy your communion.  In fact, you just may stay longer in his presence than you expected.  It is addictive as is truth.  You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.  

Is GOD in control?  The DECISION is YOURS!

#68. SILENCE.....With A SMILE!

One quick visit to the closest convenience store on a Sat. afternoon and sure enough, opportunity knocked.  Several people in the store.  I was at the counter paying.  Man at opposite end of the counter waited for the clerk to serve me, then go to him.  He got impatient and started swearing.  Noone said anything.

I looked over and we made eye contact.  Decision time: be bold or ignore the sin...condone it?  I said in a normal voice, "You are in the presence of ladies....don't talk like that."  His eyes got bigger, voice got louder as he quickly defended his behavior by saying, "I can't help it, I HAVE to swear, I have a letter from the doctor.  Do you want to see my letter?"   

We held eye contact, a lady stood between us quietly, looking at me, obviously not knowing what to expect next.  I looked over her head and said to him,  "You are accountable for every word..... EVERY word."  I looked up, and back at him.  He said once more, "I can't help it, I HAVE to swear!"  I said, "I will pray for you. God...CAN... help you."  He kept looking at me, I know God touched him in that moment.  He said nothing more.  Hope... touched his heart.  I believe it.

It was what I call a Divine appointment for this young man, maybe 22 years of age.  He has obviously believed lies of the enemy.  Not to mention lies of the   medical professionals too, from the sound of it. I smiled as I exited the store while he kept looking.  I discerned a new peace in him.  His countenance had  changed.  It does not necessarily take laying on of hands for someone to receive a touch from God.  A touch of deliverance.  Nothing is too hard for God.  He is looking for vessels to flow through.  Pure vessels, vessels of honor that He can anoint and pour into others lives. 

The enemy hates anything to do with holiness, pure hands, clean heart; and exposes himself quickly in the presence of such.  He has no peace because   darkness can't hide.  Light and darkness do not mix.  In the presence of light and truth, darkness can not hide.  It will manifest sooner or later so be ready Church.  When your light is bright darkness is attracted to the difference, only to be evicted from the premises.  That is what happened in just moments.  The anointing of the Holy Spirit destroys yokes of bondage.  Glory to God.

As for the other customers and clerk, not one word was said.  They acted as if this man and I were invisible.  Yet seeds were sown by the words I spoke.  I claimed them to be fruit bearing for the Kingdom of God.  In brief, when I walked into that store the atmosphere changed.  Why?  Because of Christ in me.  He's not just in my heart, I breathe him, I reek of his presence, I dine with him, I commune with him, I live with him 24/7.  

I only go where he wants me to go, my cup runneth over with love for him.  He has done so much for me.  Every step I take is with the Holy Spirit at my side, nudging me, encouraging me, giving me the right words, protecting me, flooding me with peace and making me wiser than my enemies always.  Living without fear has been just one of the huge victories God has enabled me to enjoy.  The fear of God, I do have.  

To be totally transparent I must tell you that when I got outside I did say somewhat exasperatedly ...."Lord...for the love of mercy...what is with this swearing lately?!!" His response to me was: Silence....with a smile!  That was what I received.  If he can smile and it is not my name but his name that is being used wrongly, then I can smile too!!  It was a special unspoken kinda hi five today!  Hallelujah.

The longer I serve him the better I understand him.  It's really kinda neat....in fact...some kinda wonderful indeed!  Too good not to share.  Hope you agree.  

I hope each reader will agree with me in the Name of Jesus as we claim that man's salvation for the Kingdom of God, total deliverance from swearing, that he will never ever do it again.  Also that he will know without a doubt the desire left because God answers prayer.  Prayer for him.  May his heart be thankful and as a result of the change, now want...to trust God more, knowing God really does want to help him.  This is the beginning of a personal relationship between he and God.  He has hope now.  We proclaim it in the Name of Jesus!  Amen.  Hallelujah.  

Sometimes a prayer for someone who believed noone ever prays for him...is all it takes to change a heart that is hurting, hungry, and ready to receive a touch only God can give.  The world is full of hurting people.  Even one by one by one...we CAN make a difference if we pray, obey, remain 'in Christ'.  Thank you for praying and reading.  Lots more to be written because my life is never dull.  :))    Praise the Lord!  NEXT...........?  Silence...with a Smile...Makes It All Worthwhile!!!
