Who says fire and water
Don’t mix?
When God puts it together
It’s a blend like no other.
The Master Artist
Makes no mistakes, no errors
Needs no eraser
Yet the artwork constantly changes
With every passing wave
Every ray of sun that breaks through
Every cloud that blows by
Making something so beautiful
Even more beautiful
Moment by moment
Because it is God’s way
Of revealing Himself
Day after day
To those who obey
“Blessed are the pure in heart
For they shall see God”
Matthew 5:8
They shall see the hand of God at work
Not just now and again
Not just in the fire and the water
But in the wind, the flowers, the trees,
In the Rainbow so bright
The storm clouds, the sun,
And the stars at night.
He’s here, there and everywhere
Wooing all to come in
There’s room in the Family of God
The blood of Jesus still cleanses sin
Hearts are touched from the inside
When Jesus is welcomed aboard
Nothing is too hard for him
Praise the Lord!
