#121.  More Than One Viewpoint

I glanced around at the people on the bus.

Many in this town were quite elderly 

Because it is a popular retirement area.

So with me being a senior, new to the area

I soon became aware of people with walkers

And canes, someone to assist by their side.

Today was different though, it was impactful

So much so that I want to share with you

How a deep compassion, then thankfulness

Ensued my inner being as I simply sat there

And observed, seeing far more than with

The natural eye...it moved me to the core.

The bus stopped.  A lady leaned forward

As her dog stood also as they slowly

Headed for the front door.

Behind her was an elderly man, also with dog

Shaky to walk, stooped over, obviously unsure

As he too steeped forward, with white cane.

That is when I realized both adults were blind.

The dogs were seeing eye dogs to assist.

The bus waited and I watched as there was grass

In a small area just before the sidewalk.

The lady pointed her cane careful, cautiously

And moved carefully forward, simultaneously.

She spoke to the man behind her...often.

It was literally "The Blind Leading The Blind".

The impact on my heart was so profound

As I witnessed them literally inching their way forward.

Oh I wanted to jump off that bus and be their eyes,

Reassure them, help them be confident, encourage them.

Yet they were using the dog, cane, and each other

So as the bus departed...I was only too aware

Though I do not have a seeing eye dog

Or a cane, I now see "Better Than Before"

Thankfulness welled up from within for my vision,

New glasses recently and not having to have cataract surgery.

Those were my praise reports, but today...much more.

I sat on that bus and started to praise God for my health,

For my vision, for healing me physically, emotionally, etc.

And for keeping me cancer free...13 years! (1Peter 2:24)

I prayed for others on the bus that needed healing

And hated how much they've been robbed.

Sickness and disease is not from God,

He said, "My people perish for lack of knowledge."

Many have the mindset that getting older and sickness

Simply go hand in hand so they accept it

Run to the doctor, get their prescription

And try to cope as they accept deterioration and mediocrity.

Not me.  I fight for my health, maintaining it, resist sickness.

My heart went out to every person on that bus 

As I prayed for them with new compassion.

I was surprised when the Lord... 

The Holy Spirit revealed to me

What they see...when they look at me.

Eye glasses, and I get around easily without wavering

So they see me as someone with no problems.

The Holy Spirit sees within and He revealed to me

What He sees that they do NOT.

Due to lung surgery when I had cancer 13 years ago

2/3 of one lung...was removed surgically.

To have the Lord communicate to me in such an intimate way

Birthed more thankfulness and praise for my health

And for our personal relationship, He's with me always.

I am so blessed, how about you?

If you want to birth some thankfulness, compassion...

Take a bus ride!

Any town anywhere and it won't be long

Before you find someone who needs your prayers.

Your eyes will turn from self and your problems

As you become a vessel God can use effectively

Because a heart housing Jesus

Is a heart that loves people.  Do you?

Incidentally, two other ladies sat side by side

Opposite me, one with her cheek enlarged

Three times normal size, possible tumor.

She was smiling crookedly as she spoke

And I looked her in the eyes and smiled back.

One moment of connection, acceptance...

Not rejection, not head down, not avoidance.

I saw her fight to live, her healthy attitude,

Heard her compliment the lady next to her.

She to me is a hero...an overcomer, in her 80's.

So my little bus trip was a birthing trip

For thankfulness and compassion today.

I won't forget this day...I am so blessed.

So impacted that I wanted to share with you

And pray you are impacted accordingly.

People need the Lord and people need people.

Lets be effective as we reach out, solve problems.

What we do for others God will do for us...Covenant.

After months of missing the mark
Shall we say...meaning not blogging
I got back on track
Today.
Three blogs later
Just getting into the groove
Interruption, distraction, company...
Attempts to refocus
Did not resurrect a new topic
Nor did the desire to write
Get resurrected either.
Creativity apparently withdrew
Only to park itself who knows where.
Suffice to say next time I blog
If the door bell or phone rings
I won't give a care.
Focus focus focus intently...
Is not an option, but a must
If creativity is to be birthed:
BLOG...or BUST!

#118.  THINKING...JUST THINKING

Did you ever look back at a cute dog
That was looking at you
And find yourself thinking:
"I wonder when he is thinking..."
Dogs have emotions, obviously
So the wagging of his taiil
Or lack thereof
Is one clue to his state
Yet with humans...
How does this relate?

Some humans never speak to you
Yet their eyes reveal so much
Mirror to the soul indeed
Easy to see wholeness
Or a heart that does bleed.
Twinkles reflect happiness, joy
Sorrow and grief also easy to see
If you were 'reading self' today, "me"
Specifically, what...
Would you see?

#117  A BROADER SCOPE

I MUST BE GETTING OLDER AND WISER.

I SEE THINGS FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE

THAN I SAW YEARS AGO.

FOR EXAMPLE:

WHEN SOMEONE ADDRESSES A CROWD

AND ADDRESSES EVERYONE AS IF THEY ALL HAVE FAMILY

MORE THAN LIKELY, THAT IS NOT SO.

IN MOST CROWDS THERE IS USUALLY SOMEONE

WHO DOES NOT HAVE A FAMILY

TO SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH

OR THANKSGIVING, BIRTHDAYS, ETC.

HOW DO I KNOW?

BECAUSE I LOVED WITHOUT ANY FAMILY AT ALL NEARBY.

THE CLOSEST ONE WAS 1600 MILES AWAY.

YET I AM CERTIAN I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE ALONE.

THE ALONENESS DID NOT GET TO ME

BECAUSE I HAVE JESUS; WE DINE TOGETHER.

HE IS THE GREATEST CONVERSATIONALIST

HE IS THERE ALL THE TIME.

HE NEVER MISSES A MEAL

THOUGH HE DOESN'T EAT MUCH. HE MAKES ME LAUGH.

HE MAKES ME FEEL LOVED.

HE KNOWS WHEN TO SPEAK

AND WHEN TO BE STILL.

I FEEL HIS LOVE

THOUGH I CAN'T SEE HIS FACE.

I KNOW HE IS WITH ME ALWAYS

BECAUSE I DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM HIM.

I CHOOSE TO STAY CLOSE.

I ENJOY OUR COMMUNION

SO WHY AM I WRITING ABOUT BEING ALONE,

BEING WITHOUT FAMILY?

TO ENLIGHTENN SOME PEOPLE OF THIS FACT:

IN A CONGREGATION SOMEONE IS GRIEVING

OVER THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE...

SOMEONE ELSE IS LONELY.

SOMEONE ELSE IS HURTING, NEEDS A FRIEND,

SOMEONE ELSE IS FULL OF JOY

THAT NEEDS TO BE SPREAD AROUND.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS AN INVITATION OUT.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE HOSPITABLE.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS A HUG.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS FINANCIAL HELP.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS A VEHICLE.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS SOME FURNITURE.

SOMEONE HAS A NEED OF SOME KIND.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS SOME COMPASSION.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS MERCY AND GRACE.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO SLOW DOWN,

TAKE TIME TO BE STILL...LISTEN TO GOD...

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO TESTIFY...

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO SING A SONG.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO SHARE A WORD.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO OPEN THEIR HEART

INVITE JESUS IN...

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS CLEAR DIRECTION

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE.

SOMEONE SOMEWHERE, WHETHER BESIDE YOU

IN FRONT OF YOU OR BEHIND YOU...HAS A NEED

HAVE YOU ASKED GOD WHO YOU COULD BLESS?

HAVE YOU ASKED GOD HOW YOU CAN HELP SOMEONE?

DO YOU COME TO CHURCH THINKING OF OTHERS

OR HOW YOU CAN BE OF ASSISTANCE TO THEM

OR DO YOU COME TO RECEIVE ONLY?

WHERE IS YOUR FOCUS?

IS IT ON OTHERS, OR ON SELF?

IS THE HOLY SPIRIT ABLE TO GUIDE YOU,

SPEAK TO YOU, NUDGE YOU

OR ARE YOU SENSITIVE TO HIS WAYS...

HE IS YOUR TEACHER, COMFORTER, GUIDE.

HE WANTS YOU TO HAVE PEACE AND IN CHRIST, ABIDE.

YOU CAN NOT DO IT ALL ALONE. 

SO WHETHER YOU HAVE LOTS OF FAMILY OR NONE

BE AWARE SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE HAS A NEED...

YOU JUST MIGHT BE THE PERSON GOD WILL USE

TO HELP THEIR HEART NOT BLEED.

YOU MAY HAVE TO GO OUT OF YOUR WAY.

YOU MAY HAVE YOUR SCHEDULE INTERRUPTED.

YOU MAY HAVE TO CURB IMPULSIVE BUYING

SO YOU CAN OUTFIT ANOTHER...

WHO  HAS A NEED.

YOU MAY HAVE TO SHARE YOUR PHONE

BLESS SOMEONE WITH A LONG DISTANCE CALL

YOU MAY HAVE A CHANCE TO SHARE BOOKS

OR RECIPES, OR POEMS, WHATEVER.

IF YOU ARE BUSY WITH A LARGE FAMILY

INVITING ONE PEROSN WOULD NOT INCONVENIENCE YOU

AND WOULD BE SUCH A BLESSING TO THAT PEROSN

WHO MIGHT OTHERWISE BE ALONE.

IT JUST TAKES A MINUTE TO BE THOUGHTFUL.

I'VE BEEN ON THE RECEIVING END A LOT.

I HAVE BEEN ON THE GIVING END TOO.

THAT IS WHY I CAN WRITE WHAT I DO.

I HAVE LIVED IT.

WHAT I SAY IS TRUE.

IT IS SO EASY TO BE SELFISH.

ASK GOD TO REVEAL IF YOU NEED TO ADJUST.

THE MORE  YOU LET HIM CHANGE YOU

THE MORE EFFECTIVELY HE CAN USE YOU

AND THE BROADER THE MINISTRY.

TO HAVE TUNNEL VISION

BRINGS MUCH LIMITATION.

DOING THINGS GOD'S WAY

MEANS TAKING THE LIMIT OFF.

WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

PRAISE THE LORD.

WHEN HE...GIVES YOU A VISION

HE WILL WORK IT ALL OUT!

#116  HARNESS THIS 

I hear fresh rain drops splashing on the sidewalk, washing green, green, grass this morning.

Heaven's provision for earth to receive nurturing …

Proof the soil received... is growth of each blade of grass

Followed by mowing it again and again and again

As the sun shines then more rain.

Cycles, repetition, life evolving before my eyes daily, hourly, minute by minute

Until suddenly everything stops, seems to stand still.

Because my spirit man knows deep within it will not be this way forever and ever and ever. No.

Time can be taken for granted

Pages of a calendar are turned too quickly

Life can pass by to those not conscious of time

And the importance of investing time wisely

Because time is currency.

Few think of it as such but it is true.

The employed... trade time for money.

They are paid for solving problems.

Think about the last 24 hours.

What did you produce?

How did you use those minutes, moments, hours?

Was your mind stimulated,?

Did you learn new things?

Solve problems for others?

Receive from the Lord?

Hopefully...yes. :))

#110. 31914 God's Way Works

No matter how much beauty the eyes see

If within the heart there is agony

Conflict must be resolved

Before joy is restored, resurrected

For all to see.

Since the eyes are the mirror to the soul

There is no hiding the conflict, turmoil. unrest

On the other hand, there is an answer

A way to remove darkness, agony, etc.

The Way…is Jesus…He's the Best!

All that is required is to take authority

Over your mind, your turf, God's given you

Rebuke satan and his adversaries in the Name of Jesus

Plead the blood of Jesus head to toe

And read God's Word…is a "MUST DO".

Doing things God's way works.

If anyone has a plan, purpose, for you

It is God, your Creator, so trust Him

Because your assignment is not complete

You are far from through.

Though it may seem little is happening

Each day is opportunity for progress

Opportunity to learn

From the best and use the tools God gave you 

As your testimony results from the past mess.

Your experiences are unique

Your testimony grows with each day

Know that God is fully ware of your trials

The Holy Spirit reveals what you need to do

Faithfully giving Divine instructions in many a way.

When you ask questions expect answers

When you pray the Word God moves on your behalf

When you pray in agreement with another

Power is released and victory is yours

So live, love, and by the way, it's okay to laugh!

#108 THINK

Just the word 'Think'

Makes me want to stop everything

And do exactly that

Think

If more time were spent thinking

Before moving forward

I have a hunch that time

Would be used more wisely

Getting your ducks in a row

So to speak

Is not a foolish thing to do

It is for a purpose

It helps you

And others too

Organizing effectively

Is a timesaver

When you value time

You will succeed far more

Than someone

With complete disregard

You decide which category

Fits you perfectly

As for me the desire to succeed

Resulted in being more time conscious

Recently I saw someone

First time in five years

That five years flew by

It was a turning point moment

When five years can pass that quickly

I knew guarding my time was not an option

Setting new perimeters, boundaries

Needed to be implemented

It is one thing for someone else

To have no regard for the value of time

It is another thing if I do so

After this rude awakening, so to speak

It was a thorn moment that caused pain

Brought me out of denial

Because the truth was bright

No retreating, not again

Make my life count Lord

Is what I want to do

My heart aches for those in pain

So little time, so few laborers

Before 5 years passes by again

I pray by reading this right now

You will be awakened as well

To value and use your time wisely

Time can not be stockpiled

When it is gone it is gone forever

Think…think…think

And ask the Holy Spirit to help you

Plan your day, prophesy to your day

Make every day count in some special way

As in Christ you learn, and teach others

Life is not all play

Jesus fulfilled his responsibility

As His disciples we have responsibilities too

And we are accountable for every second

We've been given so take time to 'think'

Wasted time is costly

Time is currency

How you use it

Is your decision

Psalm 139:17 tells us clearly

God thinks about you and I

If He takes time to think

I reckon we need to also

I know one lady

That has a 'Thinking Chair"

That is where she sits to think

Feel free to do the same

You just may be inspired to sit

More often than you think

Yet results of more thinking

Will not be time wasted

Thinking more will result eventually

In less time simply sitting

Let 'Thinking' be your difference

And see what God will do

He's our example and God thinks

So let's raise the bar right now

And set a specific time daily

To do exactly that

#107    A PEBBLE WITH A PURPOSE

Words from a preacher's mouth painted a picture

On the walls of my mind

He referred to David picking up 5 stones

Out of a creek and I saw his hand

Reach for the first one...

Embrace it as he lifted it up 

Out of the crystal clear cold flowing water

Then I saw more in the spirit realm

As the Holy Spirit 

Ministered to me

That pebble in his hand seemed harmless

It had been in the creek for so long

Even the rough edges were now smooth

Though it appeared nothing was happening

Time did not create the changes

Action of the water produced change

As the pebble remained in position

For years and years

While being prepared 

                                                For an assignment   (Side Note: 30 years for Jesus)

That little pebble needed to be embraced

By a slingshot 

Not just any slingshot

One that had been used repeatedly

By a Shepherd with good eyesight

Accuracy supreme

A dream within

About to manifest

As he was prepared

To 'Bulls Eye' Goliath

He then used Goliath's sword

So as to complete his decision

To kill the giant, not pay taxes

Receive a lot of money

 Marry the King's daughter

God did not instruct him

He made a wise decision

Completed his goal 

Resulting in changed lives

For many

The pebble that withstood storms

While in the creek for years

Symbolic of you and I

Encountering life's battles daily

Storms, sunshine, rain, wind, adversity
Exposed to attempts to steal, kill, destroy
Yet maintaining position repeatedly
Due to staying close to the Holy Spirit
Our River of Life Within
Living Water Nourishing Us

A 'Pebble' feeding on God's Word
Not only results in mindset changes
As storms like sandpaper rub repeatedly
Until change, yielding, submission occurs
Resulting in increased patience, good fruit
And opportunity for faith to grow
When it appears as if nothing is happening
Yet confidence in God increases
Because Faith comes by hearing the Word
A Pebble with power, love, sound mind results

Like a Gold Medalist well prepared
Confident the vision within
Will come to fruition
 "With God All Things Are Possible"
The Pebble is released from that slingshot
Only to find it's mark precisely
Mission Accomplished, Done Deal
Be ready to hit the mark
God needs more than one

 #106.    God Reached Down From Heaven 

God reached down from Heaven today

Stirred Dr. Mike Murdock's heart

Gave Him an instruct to share online

A glorious opportunity

For those who listened

Which included me.

I knew by the Sprit of God

What the Opportunity would be

So I knew participating

Was not an option for me.

A Pastor and his entire family

Live in two rooms only

In Pakistan.

Dr. Murdock supports one daughter in school.

The Pastor has no car.

The Holy Spirit said just as Moses needed 70 to help

Ask 70 to help with this need, $7,000.00 to buy a car.

Then support with $10.00 a month for one year.

This helps with food and gas and to get established.

The Pastor travels to other towns, had accident scooter.

God hand picked this family

Then God hand picked 70 people on the phone today

People like me who want to help others, and I do.

I have a large comfortable room at a hotel

They live in two rooms only, the entire family.

I lay on the floor and wept for this family

I've not met, don't know, yet God gave compassion

So I want their needs met and more

Doesn't everyone…

Unfortunately,  no, cause some spectate

But I chose to participate.

I am an investor in Pakistan now

I'll note this important date. (2.18.14)

By phone I sowed Seed

I am  deeply touched and so thankful

That I am so blessed yet want to do more.

Thank God for M300 teaching at noon daily.

God picked 70 people to participate.

Little is much when God is in it.

When a Preacher asks you to sow

Hear…the voice of the Holy Spirit…#Know.

When God asks you to sow

He's got a Harvest on His mind.

Let's make wise decisions, not be distracted

So our address the Harvest does…find.

Be A Wise Learner

#98  From A Stone To A Pen

The more I meditated on David and Goliath, one of my favorite Bible stores. the more I recognized solid faith in action.  David could have taken one pebble only to defeat Goliath.  He knew how to hit his target with a blow where it would produce the effect he desired.  He had no fear.  David had no doubt.  Yet David collected not one, or two, or three, but five stones.  

Obviously David was a thinker.  His mind moved into the future with the precision of a lazar beam.  He knew a man does not enter a battle unprepared.  Nor does a man enter a battle ill equipped.  He made a wise decision not to wear armor that did not fit.  Another wise decision was his preparation for the possible retaliation of Goliath's four sons.  Goliath plus four makes five...David was a thinker...preparing...armed...using the gift he had been given not only on the key day of battle.  

For years behind the scenes David slung a stone with that slingshot, each time perfecting more and more his skill.  Consequently, if the sons attacked, he would not be alarmed or even distracted.  He would simply start swinging that sling shot with accuracy...repeatedly.  Confidence was not lacking because his previous time of practise cause David to see his skill was becoming more refined, more accurate, he could sling a stone further and further hitting the mark repeatedly.  

Do you wonder what his thoughts were as he realized he was improving all the time...yet he was surrounded with sheep that don't talk.  Did he think he was about to face yet another ferocious life threatening animal that would require great strength and skill?  Did he face fear just thinking about it?  Did his hearing improve also as he listened for sounds coming from behind... as well as within sight?  

When he was called from the field was his heart pumping like no other time?  Was adrenalin surging in preparation though he knew not why?  Was he looking, listening, from all directions as his spirit was on so-called 'red alert'?  Was there a blend of fear and excitement as he neared his unintended target?  Did he feel like if he blinked again he would see something he'd never seen before?  Was he expectant, jubilant, tense, concerned, stressed, or did he walk with purpose in his step...every step bringing him closer to the Palace?  A Palace he could not see but he knew within he had reached the mountain's summit.  Do you think he was yawning...procrastinating...complacent...or did he walk like a man of God whose trust in God gave Him great confidence.  His obedience increased his confidence as well.  Until the moment arrived and it was a moment of 'no turning back'.  

Do you think when he looked at Goliath he had thoughts of doing an about turn, and fast?  I think not.  His mindset was to replay past victories, as he collected those five stones.  He then used his imagination to see himself killing Goliath; but that is not the place he parked.  He then imagined receiving all three harvests which surely made him feel... taller than Goliath!  To never pay taxes, marry the King's daughter, and be second in command was quite an upgrade from caring for the sheep day and night.  

Only you know battles you have fought and won in the past...so-called 'giants' you killed.  You may not be in the pasture tending sheep; but you just may be a Pastor tending sheep with two legs instead of four.  Sheep who talk. Sheep who do not listen well.  Sheep who are not learners.  Sheep who backstab.  Sheep who wound the Shepherd whose heart is to protect and love them...  Sheep who are obviously ignorant in many areas, yet fail to reach for help.  

They at times are more an enemy than 'family friendly'.  Yet a man with a Shepherd's heart...never quits.  He has excelled in forgiving, countless times, without keeping count.  Sounds like Jesus.  If your Pastor was Jesus in his fleshly body would you treat him differently?  Would you be more attentive, more respectful, more obedient, more punctual, more focused, more positive, more quick to show honour, more giving, more thankful, more loving?  How about less outspoken, less flesh visible, less boisterous, less compromising, less words, less critical, less negative? If it were Jesus in your shoes what changes would He implement first, in obedience to His Father?  

Anything He reveals by the power of the Holy Spirit will be that which is hindering you in some way, from fulfilling His call on your life.  He removes that which is destroying you.  Will you let Him lead you  accordingly?  Is hour heart in agreement with your mouth when you say, "Thy will be done Lord."?  David could have dug his heels in after killing the bear and said, "I quit...enough is enough!"  Quitting is not enhancing progress.  No defeated individual is full of joy and energy.  So for those who are in that scenario, wake up to the truth that you have not envisioned all God has planned for you.  Circumstances are the opposite of what God promised but God does not change.  

The same God that prepared David is preparing you for a glorious future.  As you obey the voice of the Holy Spirit you will know what weapon to choose and will already be skilled at using it.  Your trust will be not in circumstances that are subject to change.  Rather, trusting God is a habit you enforced for decades and if any habit is a good habit, it is the habit of 'Trusting God".  He is 100% trustworthy.  So let's check the fit of your armour...refocus to the positive...stand up straight like a King expecting to receive his Queen and move forward in faith because faith is what pleases God.  Bottom line...it will require faith to please God.  Is your faith intact?  Are you hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit?  Are you expectant?  Do your eyes dance with anticipation as you make a conscious effort to walk into your future...Christ-centered future?  This is where you believe, conceive, proclaim, expect, and rejoice prior to manifestation because faith says it is yours, it will happen to the glory of God.  

Locate your position; get your check list out; meditate on the Word of God; ask lots of questions to self and to the Holy Spirit; expect answers; be a receiver; dogmatically drawing answers toward you like an invisible magnet; praise and worship is always part of the equation; the icing on the cake can easily be Psalm 112...every verse read and proclaimed daily.  When your day of battle arrives, just as David succeeded with God's help; you will know that you know, well in advance that "Success" is what you produced... that others may succeed...to the glory of God.  I know, because it happened to me.  My book "THE AGONIZED HEART...No More" is manifestation of my success over a Goliath in my life.  

Goliath is not always a person...I battled mind altering 'fear' to the point of losing my identity!  God restored and my life has been fear'less' for over a decade, to the glory of God.  No matter how big your so called Goliath is, you can also be an overcomer in Christ.  My weapon was not one or five stones...it was a pen.  PS.45:1 "...My tongue is the pen of a ready writer."  I am the vessel, the Holy Spirit is symbolized by the ink that flows through the pen.  From a pen to a computer and finally published in a book proving nothing is to hard for God.  Teaching how to recognize and abandon abusive relationships whether it be a mate, relative, neighbor, clerk, etc.  Also, how you teach people how to treat you...

What is your weapon of choice? Keep refining your skill and know that in due season you shall reap ... if you faint not. Galatians 6:9.  In one day your whole life can change with an invitation to the Palace.  Stay focused, diligent, faithful, pure, knowing your labor done as unto the Lord is not in vain...ever.  If anyone keeps accurate records...it is God. He's got your number...you are 'Next' so allow the Holy Spirit to prepare you moment by moment because "World Class" requires much more than some good habits.

           #96    EXPECTANCY IS A BIRTHING AGENT 

IF WE ONLY KNEW HOW REALLY BIG GOD IS ...AND HOW MUCH HE WANTS US TO PROSPER...(YES, I SAID THAT WONDERFUL WORD 'PROSPER') IN EVERY... AREA OF OUR LIVES. OH HOW GLORIOUS IT WOULD BE TO SEE HIS HAND AT WORK ON OUR BEHALF BECAUSE AS WE REMOVE THE LIMITS AND RECEIVE ALL HE HAS FOR US WE IN TURN BECOME BIGGER TOO.  

ENLARGED WITH HIS GOODNESS, HIS MERCY, HIS LOVE, HIS GRACE, HIS PEACE, HIS LOVE, HIS JOY, THERE IS NO END TO ALL HE HAS AND IT EXTENDS TO THE MATERIAL WORLD TOO.  GOD IS INTO MULTIPLICATION AND GOD LIKES NEW...  THAT IS WHY WE DO TOO.  IT IS NOT A SIN.  IT IS NOT SELFISH.  IT IS NOT CARNAL. 

IT IS GOD WHO CREATED NOT JUST A HANDFUL OF STARS...SO WE SHOULD ALLOW OUR CREATIVE ABILITIES TO INCREASE AS WE DRAW FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT MORE AND MORE AND MORE.  BEING EXPECTANT SIMULTANEOUSLY.  EXPECTANT TO RECEIVE AND IMPART TO OTHERS.  AS WE POUR OUT, GOD KEEPS POURING IN MORE.  THE MORE WE THINK BIG...THINK LARGE...THINK LARGER...THE MORE WE SEE HOW BIG GOD IS AND HOW LITTLE OUR THINKING HAS BEEN... THE MORE WE LEARN TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND ENLARGE AS WE TRUST GOD FOR NEW EXPERIENCES, REVELATIONS, GLORIOUS MOMENTS WITH HIM THAT BIRTH INTIMACY ONLY HE CAN POUR INTO US.

BOTTOM LINE: GOD HAS MUCH MORE...OF GOD...FOR EACH OF US.  DO WE BELIEVE IT?  WILL WE RECEIVE ALL HE HAS FOR US?  IT TAKES FAITH.  WE CAN NOT PLEASE GOD WITHOUT FAITH.  LET'S ASK GOD TO REVEAL HIMSELF IN NEW WAYS TODAY AS WE WALK WITH HIM STEP BY STEP AND BE VERY EXPECTANT TO BE INCREDIBLY BLESSED.  NOT IN A PREDICTABLE WAY BECAUSE HE WANTS TO DO SOMETHING NEW...REMEMBER...GOD IS INTO 'NEW'.  IT IS A NEW DAY.  LIKE THE SONG SAYS, IT'S A NEW SEASON.  A SEASON OF POWER AND PROSPERITY...COMING TO ME.  

WITH THAT IN MIND HAVE A SUPER GREAT DAY WITH GOD...AS JESUS REVEALS HIMSELF TO YOU VIA THE HOLY SPIRIT WHOM HE SENT WHEN HE ASCENDED.  TALK TO THE HOLY SPIRIT BECAUSE HE IS TALKING TO YOU.   GET TO KNOW HIS VOICE BETTER AND KNOW THAT HE LOVES BEING ASKED QUESTIONS.  BESIDES...HIS ANSWERS ARE ALWAYS TRUTHFUL.  NO SLITHER IN HIM.  HE IS...THE REAL DEAL.  GLORY TO GOD.  AND I HOPE YOU SHARE SOMETHING 'NEW' YOU RECEIVED AS THE GOD OF THIS UNIVERSE REVEALED HIMSELF TO YOU IN A NEW WAY TODAY.  HE IS ABLE...WILL YOU BELIEVE AND RECEIVE? EXPECTANCY IS A BIRTHING AGENT!

#93. TRUE BLUE...TO THE CORE

One Question:  What ever happened to the “True Blue…To The Core”?  Meaning: those that will speak only Truth…without fail.  Honesty is like an unchanging anchor in their life that causes them to be outstanding in any crowd, without fail.  How do I know?

Because I know someone who is “True Blue To The Core” and has been for decades. Consequently, any darkness that gets near this person is easily exposed.  The brighter the light, the more difficult it is for darkness to hide. Think about it…there can be dark corners in a room with a light on, but in the life of a believer who keeps depositing the Word of God a displacement occurs.  Light removes darkness.  It happens within first, proving that spending time depositing God’s word within… is never time wasted.  Rather it is ‘displacement time’.  Law of displacement.

If the Word of God has been deposited within daily, repeatedly, even when not understanding it yet faithfully reading, listening, good things are happening on the inside.  Of that you can be sure because the Word of God is not like any other ‘words’.  Each word is alive.  Depositing living water within is what occurs through the reading of God’s Word.  The more the Word is read the more darkness gets exposed.  Changes happen within first, prior to the outward manifestation.  It is the Word of God at work, and The Word Works!  Just whetting your appetite for the Word because that is the area the enemy tries hardest to defeat believers.

So why aren’t there more believers who are “True Blue To The Core”?  Why are there so many believers who refuse to be totally honest?!! Why is a mask worn when there is a problem, rather than admitting being offended?  Why say instead…too busy for you now…?   Why are excuses given, rather than being upfront, honest, and dealing with issues?  It is not until there is a disagreement…that you have opportunity to adapt.  That is when you find out if you are handling adversity effectively because the result will be agreement. 

Do you?  Why are there so few that are willing to do so…is it fear of rejection, fear of losing control if the inner anger starts to be released and truth comes out? Is there a volcano of pain stuffed within that once the lid comes off it can no longer be contained?  Thus, fear of losing control…yet not recognizing the decision to house such pain is controlling self.) 

Is there a problem dealing with emotions effectively?  Is it easier to handle issues with emails than in person, or by phone?  Are the phone and computer used as a barrier of protection…so to speak?  If so, there are a lot more issues within that need to be dealt with because whatever the current issue is, that was only the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak.   What is being stockpiled within?  Is it unresolved issues, is it offense, is it anger extreme, is it hurt, is it pain, is it rejection, is it all of the above…or none?

Whatever it is, you know better than anyone so one by one, ask the Holy Spirit to help you walk out the darkness in each situation until every wound is healed.  Then you are not only healed, cleansed, made stronger, but set free to be a believer who is “True Blue To The Core”.  This is simply part of the daily walk with the Lord Jesus Christ as we do encounter difficulties because we are in a spiritual battle.  Yet if we do not keep our spirit in good condition we will be like soldiers in God’s Army full of wounds, bandages, and much pain, infection, because unhealed wounds easily spread. 

They cause not only pain; but more words can be released such as gossip, or a tongue lashing occurs against the person you got offended at. Easier to criticize someone to another, (and God hates sowing discord among the brethren…) than it is to humble self and start facing facts and issues within. Especially when the person who the offense is at, apologized, though offense was not intended.  To continue to a have broken relationship is undeniable fruit, not how Jesus calls the body of Christ to function.

When the root of bitterness, unforgiveness is not dealt with effectively, the fruit will be obvious to others as bad fruit.  Kind of a dangerous place to be for anyone around you because you become like a dog that is wounded and such a dog will even bite its owner… who only means good, no harm!  Hurting dogs bite people, and hurting people hurt people.  If Jesus harbored pain from wounds he received when he walked on earth in his earthly body…how would love flow out to others when he spoke?  Love flowed because forgiveness flowed fast.  Even on the cross…forgive them…for they know not what they do. He forgave, we can and must, too.  

Jesus walked in love and he is our example.  He prayed all night.  Do you think perhaps some of his prayers were for the healing of his own spirit because of how he was treated?  Jesus kept himself free of unforgiveness, revenge, poison. He “chose”…to walk in love.  If instead, Jesus withdrew and isolated himself because of hurts received…how would that help us? He makes it clear that withdrawal is not the answer for progress spiritually.  Nor is denial.

If there is a process of maturing taking place in the life of a believer this is an area where confronting will be done to resolve, maintain unity.  To be denied that opportunity, is not scriptural.  However, it is also not scriptural to give opportunity to talk it out and then not be honest; rather side step the root reason and throw up an excuse.  Excuses simply erect a so-called smoke screen to deflect from the area where offense was conceived, or a spiritual arrow hit whether intentional or not. Result is, the wound stays and good is not accomplished though an effort was made.  People can not change people, but people can change themselves with God’s help.   

If individuals truly want to be Christ like, there is a desire for unity, harmony, peace, love to flow, and forgiveness to be fast and sincere.  If we want to be like Jesus Christ can we justify not dealing with issues let alone not dealing with issues honestly?  Choosing to harbor pain is hanging on to it.  To forgive, one must be willing to let it go, release it completely, sincerely, so as to no longer be a victim. Unforgiveness, and not dealing with issues hurts each individual far more than anyone else. It is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Or going for marriage counseling and one party lies repeatedly.  Honesty is a must, not an option!

Prior… to becoming an overcomer in Christ, the pain has to be released and forgiveness also.  It is not complicated yet why…again I ask, why are there so few that are “True Blue To The Core”?  I pray for many more in the body of Christ to receive total healing and make a commitment to be honest, never lie, not even a white lie, as they raise the bar in their lives and become like my Mentor Dr. Mike Murdock…  “True Blue To The Core”.

I honor you Dr. Mike Murdock, and thank you for being an example of “WORLD CLASS”…  “True Blue To The Core”!  Without fail, the Holy Spirit through you, inspires me and multitude’s more and more to be “True Blue To The Core”!! THANK YOU!! (Through your teachings the Holy Spirit gave me a hunger for the Word of God and a desire to keep raising the spiritual bar!)  Thus, I ‘Honor’ You.
